The article highlights the importance of searching for new methods to improve the crown technique of freestyle wrestlers. The introduction of an experimental technique into the training process of wrestlers has shown its high effectiveness. This is evidenced by the reliability in the dynamics of the indicators of the number of crown techniques performed and indicators of pedagogical assessment of the quality of techniques performed by wrestlers. The pronounced tendency to decrease heart rate in wrestlers indicates the adaptation of the cardiovascular system to regular training load.
