This article examines the concept of the professional-labor self-concept of persons with musculoskeletal disorders, discusses the specifics of integration of this category of persons into society and the work environment, shows the importance of providing psychological assistance and comprehensive support for this category of persons in the process of vocational guidance and professional implementation. It is shown that the professional and labor self-concept of persons with musculoskeletal disorders presupposes a conscious attitude towards their professional activities, taking into account their capabilities and limitations, as well as the search for optimal ways to realize their labor potential. In addition, a number of legislative acts, decrees and regulations governing the labor integration of persons with musculoskeletal disorders in our country are subject to discussion. The main problems faced by specialists when implementing vocational guidance and labor rehabilitation programs for persons with musculoskeletal disorders in the Russian Federation are considered. The main aspects of the successful integration of persons with musculoskeletal disorders into the working environment with support from the state, society and employers are also considered.
