The article analyzes the concepts of "psychological and pedagogical support" and "psychological and pedagogical maintenance" of competitive activity, their substantive components are considered. The concept of psychological and pedagogical maintenance has been clarified. The content of the process of psychological and pedagogical maintenance of competitive activity is specified. This process includes meaningful components, the implementation of which must be carried out at the stage of pre-competitive, competitive and post-competitive training of young boxers.
