The technique of sprinting on a turn is distinguished by a number of biomechanical features that should be taken into account when developing methods for its improvement. However, the approaches used by trainers do not take into account its specifics. At the same time, a clear decrease in the competitive performance of Russian athletes was revealed. In this regard, during the study, the biomechanical characteristics that predetermined the direction of improving the technique of sprinting on a turn were specified.
