Determination of gender personality type in 1st year students of Togliatti state university

Abstract (English):
The article presents a study on gender role socialization characteristic of students enrolled in 2-3 courses of Tolyatti State University. The issues of identification of gender role socialization of boys and girls in the age segment of 20-22 years are considered. The methodology and results of the study are described, which contributed to the replenishment of the content of the concept of androgyny. The study used a questionnaire by S. Boehm, modified by I.S. Kletsina. The dominance of the androgynous gender stereotype among students has been determined. The analysis of the data did not show the manifestation of masculinity in girls and boys, and also excluded the manifestation of psychosocial origin, femininity in boys. Conclusions are drawn about the crisis of masculine and feminine gender stereotypes caused by the impact of modern society.
