The article presents the results of a study on the use of psychoregulation techniques in the process of training the men's national powerlifting team of the Volgograd State Medical University. The results of the work confirmed the effectiveness of the presented methodology aimed at correcting unfavorable mental states of athletes. An improvement in the physical fitness indicators of powerlifters, with whom targeted psychocorrection was carried out, was established. In our study, we confirmed our assumption that the introduction of psychoregulation methods into the process of training athletes in powerlifting will help improve the psycho-emotional state and increase sports results.
