Developing emotional resilience in students of technical universities
Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
Global changes in technical and technological processes, the speed of information flows, and the volume of serviced devices significantly increase the number of professional risks, the realization of which can lead to socially unfavorable consequences. The relevance of the article is determined by the need to study the personal characteristics of students that allow them to effectively counteract the impact of professional risks. The analysis of scientific and methodological literature made it possible to formulate the concept of "emotional stability of a specialist" as a personality characteristic that allows optimal adaptation to the riskogenic conditions of professional activity and effectively develop in it due to volitional, motor and sensory mechanisms of regulation. The hypothetical research position asserted that esports, in conjunction with gaming and competitive teaching methods, have optimal developmental potential, allowing for targeted formation of indicators in emotional resilience. The conducted experimental work demonstrated a stable positive trend in the development of adaptive abilities, psychological resilience, communicative skills, and moral norms among students in the experimental group.
