The article presents a study on the issue of early specialization in hockey. The necessity of developing technologies for developing readiness for hockey lessons is substantiated, with the creation of favorable preconditions for a child’s conscious choice of a sport in accordance with his inclinations, abilities, and the timely start of systematic training in the chosen sport.
