The processes of upbringing and education are of great importance for shaping a child's personality and are closely related to developmental processes. One of the most important means of raising a healthy child is physical education. The article presents a study on the essence of physical and health-improving activities aimed at effectively promoting physical development and psychophysical readiness in preschool-age children. Properly organized physical and health-improving activities will satisfy the natural need for movement, develop qualities, and form skills and abilities that will positively impact individual child development.
