The correlation between emotional intelligence, empathy, and the level of interaction in the coach-athlete relationship at the stage of elite sports mastery, using swimmers as an example

Abstract (English):
The article presents a study of empathy, emotional intelligence (EI), and the level of relationships among high-level swimming coaches and highly skilled swimmers. The obtained results showed the presence of "low" and "medium" levels of empathy and EI in both athletes and their mentors. The level of relationships between coaches and their protégés in cognitive, emotional, and behavioral aspects is also characterized as "medium." A moderate strength of correlation between empathy, EI, and interpersonal interaction assessment was found.
