Abstract and keywords
Abstract (English):
The integration of alternative forms of motor activity, such as dance sports, which includes a variety of disciplines, meets the modern foundations of health-saving pedagogy. This allows us to consider dance sport as an innovation in the field of physical education, as a purposeful and systematic process aimed at improving the health of children, contributing to their physical development and increasing the level of physical fitness. Dance sport can also be positioned as a factor in the formation of cultural values, freedom of choice, independence in society, and the substantiation of its scientific and methodological foundations as one of the promising ways to improve the effectiveness and quality of physical education in primary school children. The objective of the study was to develop a system-modular technology of physical education for primary school children engaged in dance sports.
