The article discusses the application of the comparative analysis method for performing throwing movements with a hoop and ribbon in the rotational movement "compass," without the use of hands and without visual control. Similarities and some differences in body movements, as well as the time spent on performing the element, have been identified. The data obtained make it possible to develop a more directed content of the complex of subject training, the purpose of which is effective training and increasing the degree of reliability of performing the elements of "apparatus difficulty" in rhythmic gymnastics.
