The article presents a comparative analysis of state requirements for the level of physical fitness of disabled individuals and individuals with limited health abilities within the framework of the All-Russian physical education and sports complex "Ready for Labor and Defense" (GTO) regarding the number of optional tests in each age and gender group for individuals with visual impairments. Recommendations are formulated for adjusting the content of the number of normative tests in each age and gender group for individuals with visual impairments, taking into account the evolution of their physical qualities.
