Each type of sports training carries its own specificity, which is reflected primarily in its content. When implementing each type of training, an athlete must reach a certain level of preparedness, which is assessed through specialized testing. The integral physical preparedness of high-class athletes specializing in the studied disciplines is evaluated using pedagogical tests: in the 100-meter sprint - running segments of 30 and 60 meters from a start; in the 200-meter sprint - running a 150-meter segment from a start; in the 400-meter sprint - running a 350-meter segment; in the 800-meter sprint - running a 600-meter segment; in the 1500-meter sprint - running a 1000-meter segment; in long jump and high jump - jumping from 8 steps of approach, jumping from a full approach; in throwing events - performing a competitive exercise. These tests should be conducted with a competitive factor - the presence of spectators, the formation of competitive protocols, professional judging, the simultaneous start of several athletes in a race, and the sequential execution of competitive attempts in technical disciplines.
