As a result of the program's testing, participants in the experimental group developed components of readiness for self-development: reflective-emotional, motivational-volitional, and cognitive-evaluative. The change in these components is due to the fact that the special course program "Formation of Readiness for Self-Development in Cadets of a Military Medical University" deliberately included practice-oriented sections aimed at developing the abilities to: identify one’s own motives for self-development and self-regulation of activities, reflect, and self-regulate behavior; assess the components of readiness for self-development using a battery of tests and by creating a personal development program; and compile one’s psychological profile. The obtained data indicate the advisability of incorporating this program into the educational process.
