Specialists with extensive practical experience working with athletes point out the existing discrepancies between theoretical academic knowledge of scientists and the practical experience of coaches, noting the ambiguity in the interpretation of a number of commonly accepted terms and concepts in sports practice. They emphasize the importance of aligning the terminology used in scientific publications with the realities of modern training practices. Precise formulation of key concepts and definitions allows for the creation of a unified semantic platform suitable for use in the current planning of physical preparation for qualified athletes.
