The purpose of the research was to study the features and relationship between emotional burnout, self-regulation and meaningfulness of life in adolescence. The study involved students of the St. Petersburg State Transport University aged 17-21 years. The following methods were used for data collection: the "Existential Scale" by A. Längle and K. Orgler, adapted by I. N. Mainina and A. Y. Vasanov, the questionnaire "Behavioral Self-Regulation Style" by V. I. Morosanova, and the "Diagnostics of the Level of Emotional Burnout" method by V. V. Boyko. The research results showed that life meaning is associated with lower emotional burnout in both boys and girls. Developed self-regulation abilities were linked to lower emotional burnout in boys, while in girls, some self-regulation abilities were associated with higher emotional burnout.
