Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to develop a methodology for teaching the technique of performing lifts in ice dance during the stage of athletic skill refinement. Research methods: analysis and synthesis of scientific and methodological literature; surveys (questionnaires); pedagogical observation; pedagogical experiment; expert evaluation; methods of mathematical data processing. Research results and conclusions. It has been established that at the stage of learning lifts, attention should be paid to the stability and quality of the element's execution, as well as to improving the special physical conditioning of ice dancers. For teaching lifts in ice dance, eleven sets of specialized exercises were included in the pedagogical experiment. The results obtained showed that the quality of lift execution improved, as evidenced by statistical indicators. It has been proven that the developed set of specialized exercises increased the stability and quality of lift performance, raising their execution level from basic to level two.
