The purpose of the study is to determine the significance of offensive strategies in the competitive performance of elite female basketball players. Research methods and organization. Methods of generalizing data from scientific and methodological literature, analysis of video materials and pedagogical observations, methods of recording parameters of competitive activity in basketball, and methods of mathematical statistics were used. The examination was carried out during the games of the 2025 European Championship and Russian Championship among women's teams. Research results and conclusions. The characteristics of varieties of special offense in basketball have been revealed. The established parameters of the proportion of successful attacks in standard situations indicate the high significance of the influence of this type of special offense on the success of competitive interactions among elite female basketball players. Increasing the effectiveness of offensive actions when organizing ball inbound plays in the frontcourt requires targeted improvement of this component of competitive activity.
