The purpose of the study is to develop a methodology for the comprehensive development of coordination abilities and voluntary self-regulation in football players aged 15–17. Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, surveys, questionnaires, and expert assessment were used. Research results and conclusions. The development of coordination abilities and voluntary self-regulation in football players aged 15–17 requires the involvement of complexes of mechanisms based on the functioning of higher levels of movement control in self-regulation by deviation, by anticipation, and by restructuring of the target level. The proposed methodology for the comprehensive development of coordination abilities and voluntary self-regulation can serve as a basis for improving the training process in youth football.
