Abstract:
The transfer of education to a competency-based approach was dictated by several circumstances. One of which is to reduce the period of adaptation of a young specialist in the workplace, the formation of competencies in him, which he will be able to put into practice immediately after graduating from a higher educational institution. For the formation of competence, it is necessary to revise the approaches to the implementation of educational activities. One of these approaches will be the use of integrated educational courses that will help to quickly form the necessary competencies, as well as knowledge and skills in core subjects, due to practice orientation and the formation of the necessary motivation. This paper considers an integrated course that allows you to increase the effectiveness of physical education at a university and develop the necessary competencies among student teachers
