STUDYING INTERPERSONAL RELATIONS AT STUDENT GROUP

Abstract:
An important role in the formation of a graduate of a higher educational institution is played by the interpersonal relations of the student with other participants in the educational process. Numerous studies have shown that interpersonal relationships in various groups of students are influenced by numerous factors. The purpose of the study was to further study interpersonal relationships in a student group to identify the most significant factors that can play the role of predictors. Methods and organization of the study. Psychodiagnostics techniques made it possible to embrace first-year students of the Faculty of Extreme Psychology. The study of interpersonal relations in the student group was based on an empirical method, the study was carried out according to the following methods: “Adaptation of the personality to a new sociocultural environment” (modified), diagnostics of motivational orientations in interpersonal communications (I.D. Ladanov, V.A. Urazaeva), “Formation of positive group motivation” (T.P. Galkina). For the mathematical (statistical) analysis of the obtained indicators, the IBM SPSS Statistics 27 software package was used. Results of the study and their discussion. The most significant factors of interpersonal relations that negatively affect the motivation of students to study at a university were orientation towards reaching a compromise and aloofness, which have a moderate (-0.436) and noticeable (-0.677) relationship according to the Cherddock’s scale, respectively. Conclusion. The main factor that is seen as a predictor of students' motivation to study at a university is the alienation of students, due to their inability to meet the needs for training in the chosen profession
