Introduction. The relevance of this topic lies in the fact that teachers and coaches of universities face the task of physically preparing student wrestlers by various means for competitions for a sufficiently limited period of time. The purpose of the work: the influence of a combination of dynamic and statistical exercises on the training of wrestlers. Organization and methods of research. The study involved two groups of athletes engaged in elective courses in martial arts at universities and performing in various types of wrestling. Control group n=15 people, male gender, age 18-21 years, experimental group n=15 people, male gender, age 18-22 years. Control group - dynamic exercises were used for the development of OFP and SFP at each training session. Experimental group - a combination of dynamic and statistical exercises was used for the development of OFP and SFP at each training session. A number of methods were used in the work: the method of parallel experiment, the method of pedagogical observation, as well as the method of mathematical analysis of passing control standards of student wrestlers in both groups. The results of the study and their discussion. Standards and tests were evaluated according to the specialization of the OFP. The difference in passing the standards for speed was 0.89%. The difference in the indicators of "strength" and "strength endurance" increased by 2%-11%. Conclusions. The result of passing the control standards showed that the physical quality of speed, this technique did not have a significant impact. But the strength endurance in the experimental group increased in all indicators
