This article presents the data of an experimental test of the methodology for improving the musical and rhythmic training of schoolgirls. The purpose of the study was to study the musical abilities of schoolgirls before and after using musical tasks. The practical significance of the study is that the use of music games in physical culture classes with girls 9-10 years old makes it possible to teach schoolgirls more logical and ethical to coordinate their movements with music, develop a sense of rhythm and pace
