The article deals with the results obtained by the method of anonymous questioning of 1-3 year students of Ivanovo State University on the issues of addictive behavior among students. Data on the prevalence of addictions and bad habits among students of a provincial classical university are presented. The relevance of the problem of addictive behavior at the present time is shown and conclusions are drawn about the need for comprehensive work to prevent such behavior among students
