Development of special endurance in rowers at the advanced training stage through integrated training
Abstract and keywords
Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to theoretically develop and experimentally test the effectiveness of a method for developing special endurance in rowers at the stage of sports specialization based on the measured application of integrated training methods. Research methods: analysis of scientific and methodological literature, pedagogical observation, survey, pedagogical experiment, methods of mathematical statistics. Research results and conclusion. The results of the analysis of physiological indicators of two groups of 15-16-year-old rowers at the stage of developing sports mastery showed that, unlike the traditional separate approach, the application of an integrated training methodology at the stage of sports specialization is pedagogically justified. Unlike the stage of elite sports mastery, where integration is aimed at achieving maximum performance, at the specialization stage the focus should be on developing the reliability of the skill. The instability of technical mastery under conditions of increasing fatigue becomes the main limiting factor, diminishing the high level of the athlete's functional preparedness. The authors of the article found that the targeted inclusion of 1-2 integrated training sessions in the weekly microcycle allows for a reliable improvement in rowing efficiency and the stability of motor skills.
