The question of the development of motor abilities in students of higher educational institutions is a priority in the process of their physical education. Currently, methods are being improved for the comprehensive development of motor abilities and personal qualities of students, especially in distance learning. The purposeful formation of motor abilities is especially in demand in the framework of self-defense classes, since students are required to react quickly and move quickly in space, explosive strength and accuracy in performing movements. The article considers the relationship between coordination and speed-strength exercises for the most effective development of students' motor abilities within the framework of distance self-defense classes.
