CROSSFIT AS A MEANS OF INCREASING THE EFFICIENCY OF PHYSICAL CULTURE AND SPORTS AT THE UNIVERSITY

Abstract:
In accordance with the new federal state educational standards, physical culture and sports classes implemented within the framework of elective disciplines (modules) can be both independent work of students and contact work together with a teacher. In our opinion, such a type of functional high-intensity training as crossfit is a priority activity within the framework of both educational and independent classes. To substantiate the effectiveness of the construction of crossfit classes in the educational process in the framework of the discipline "Physical Culture and Sports", we conducted a pedagogical experiment. For this purpose, two groups were organized, one of which was engaged in the crossfit system, the second in the volleyball program at the university. As a result, it was revealed that in the experimental group engaged in the crossfit program, the increase in results was mainly due to the development of strength qualities and an increase in the level of functional readiness, in the control group, the increase in results was due to the development of speed-strength and coordination qualities. As a result, the study showed that crossfit classes are preferable for improving the level of physical and functional fitness of students during their studies at the university.
