CORRELATION OFNEW FORMS OF SOCIAL ACTIVITY AND COMPONENTS OFPERSONAL SELF-DETERMINATION STUDENTS WITH DISABILITIES

Abstract:
The relevance of this study is due to the need to consider the correlation of new forms of social activity and components of personal self-determination among students with disabilities in modern conditions of functioning of society. The results of an empirical study are shown in the framework of identifying and describing the interrelationships of the above-mentioned parameters of forms of social activity and personal self-determination. The sample includes 50 respondents with disabilities (with preserved intelligence) aged 18 to 23 years. Women 70%. Diagnostic battery - a method of studying personal self-determination, questions-scales of new forms of social activity of the individual. Mathematical and statistical procedures: application of Spearman, Kraskel-Wallis criteria. Data processing was carried out using the freely distributed package JASP 0.15.1.0. It is revealed that new forms of social activity are implemented unevenly (statistically significant differences in the severity of the studied characteristics are shown). Preventive activity is interconnected with subjectively experienced meaningfulness and emotional attitude to the future; post-pandemic activity with an emotional attitude to the future and an idea of external and internal adaptation resources; patriotic activity with subjectively experienced meaningfulness and emotional attitude to the future. And the indicator of professional choice has no relationship with more than one type of social activity. The conclusion is made about the suitability of the results obtained in this study within the framework of psychological and pedagogical support of the designated category of students, the approximate directions of psychological intervention are described.
