PEDAGOGICAL CONDITIONS FOR THE FORMATION OF HEALTH-ORIENTED CONSCIOUSNESS OF STUDENTS

Abstract:
The results of studies of the state of health of young students, conducted in our country, indicate a steady decline in the level of health of young students. This situation is aggravated by the high density and volume of educational information; the variability and rapid change of the content of professional activities and, consequently, educational programs; the adverse influence of environmental factors and the modern sanitary and epidemiological situation. The relevance of the article is due to the need to substantiate the pedagogical conditions aimed at the formation of a health-oriented consciousness of students. The research of scientific and methodological literature made it possible to define the concept of "health-oriented consciousness of students" as an integrative property of a personality, represented by a combination of motivational-value, cognitive and behavioral components. As the dominant pedagogical conditions for the formation of a health-oriented consciousness of students, the following are identified: program-target orientation of the process of physical education for the formation of motivational-value, cognitive, behavioral components in the structure of health-oriented consciousness; activation of the student's subjective position on the basis of reflexive activity and the use of game, competitive methods and the method of expert evaluation; integration of educational and extracurricular types of health-improving and physical culture and sports activities.
