Rosgvardia is a warring army, the study sets out issues of improving the organization and methodology of physical training classes at the Novosibirsk Military Institute of the National Guard. The purpose of the study is to determine the methodological features and conditions for the use of the modeling method (situational tasks) in physical training classes to form applied skills for future officers, oriented to real conditions and experience in conducting a special military operation. Study results and discussion. In the course of the study, methodological recommendations were formulated for the high-quality organization of classes during which the conditions of armed conflict are simulated, an algorithm was tested that allows managers (teachers) to reproduce the situation in the classes as much as possible coinciding with the real (combat) situation in the zone of a special military operation. Conclusions. When modeling the conditions of armed conflict, it is necessary to provide for the inclusion of exercises and actions that are of the most practical and applied importance for effective actions depending on the type of battle, which have in their structure elements of military-professional techniques and actions of military-professional disciplines performed in full combat equipment.
