The article discusses the problems of the formation of motor military-applied skills, which form the basis of the physical readiness of military personnel. Attention is focused on the skills of hand-to-hand combat and overcoming obstacle courses as integral elements of military professional activity in natural conditions of solving practical problems. The method of formation of applied skills is analyzed on the basis of a differentiated assessment of the basic elements of military-professional techniques and actions that contribute to qualitative changes in technical indicators and the subsequent increase in the level of practical and related methodological readiness of cadets.
