Abstract:
Introduction. Currently, a certain amount of information has been accumulated about the predictors of collective effectiveness, about its manifestations in the activities of sports teams. Studies of collective effectiveness were conducted mainly in foreign countries, but we are solving the issue of reproducibility of the patterns established in them in the teams of Russian athletes. The purpose of this study was to establish the interrelationships of indicators of collective efficiency, cohesion of sports teams and indicators of selfeffectiveness of team members in subject activities and in communication.. The methodology and organization of the study The following questionnaires were used: "Collective efficiency questionnaire for sport" (adapted), Maddux and Scheyer, "Group environment questionnaire" (adapted). The study involved two teams (football, rugby) - football players - 21 male athletes aged 17 to 23 years (average age 19.48 years), rugby players - 16 male athletes aged 18 to 24 years (average age 19.68 years). Research results and discussion. The expediency of the study by analyzing an individual case in real-life teams has been confirmed. Correlations of collective efficiency indicators with indicators of group cohesion show that the priority of team values and goals over individual ones is a condition for achieving collective efficiency. This leads to the continuation of the study in the direction of establishing the factors. determining the increase in the importance of team priorities. Conclusions. The result of research on collective effectiveness as the conviction of team members that they have the resources necessary to achieve a team goal can become a significant factor in increasing the resilience of teams to stress.
