The work emphasizes the importance of complex physical exercises from crossfit for general physical fitness and physical performance of a person. To this end, crossfit exercises have been introduced into the process of physical education of students. To achieve the goal, the author sets the following tasks: to apply complex exercises from crossfit in the process of physical education of students; increase the indicators of general physical readiness and physical performance of students. To solve the problems of the study, two groups of students of 42 people were identified, experimental and control. The students of the experimental group in the classroom used complex exercises from crossfit along with traditional means of physical development, and the students of the control group did not have these physical exercises, but with a large volume and intensity of generally accepted exercises prescribed by the work program. The study lasted for 6 months, measurements of the level of physical fitness were carried out at the beginning and at the end of the experiment. To determine the physical fitness of students, the Cooper test and the Harvard step test were used. According to the results of the Cooper test in the experimental group, the overall endurance indicators in running increased by 521.8 m, and in the control group only by 328.1 m. According to the results of the Harvard step test, the index of students in the experimental group increased by 22.8 units, and in the control group group only by 8.9 units. The successful solution of research problems fully confirmed the assumptions of the author. This work is significant not only for the theory and methodology of physical culture, the results of the study are of practical importance in the field of professional and applied physical training of students as future professionals
