Introduction. The article points out that the analysis of operational situations shows that at the present stage, the official duties of the police officers associated with the detention of offenders require from them not only a high level of physical fitness, but also significant technical preparedness. Also, a police officer should be able to act in various operational situations and make decisions quickly. Formation of cadets' skills of forcible detention it is necessary to apply means and methods that increase the level of development of coordination abilities, improve the work of the vestibular analyzer. This will make it possible to form the necessary professional motor actions at the stage of training in educational organizations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. Organization and methods of research. A study was organized on the basis of the Belgorod Law Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia. It was attended by cadets of the 3rd and 4th courses in the number of 60 people. The experiment was carried out for 6 months. An experimental technique was proposed in the practical application of 3 directions with sets of exercises. Within each direction, 4 sets of exercises were proposed. The results of the study. Analyzing the available literature, statistics and operational situations, we can confidently say that in service and combat training, constant updating of knowledge and skills in the use of combat fighting techniques, firearms, special means is necessary. The necessary knowledge, skills and abilities can be obtained in individual disciplines, but unfortunately, in a real operational situation, it is important for an employee to apply everything together. Conclusion. Physical training, as part of service and professional training, should be carried out using a conjugate method, providing for the relationship of general and special training, tactical and technical actions and cognitive improvement
