Abstract:
The article discusses a brief history of the formation of the departments of military affairs and the department of physical education at NEFU, which are directly involved in educating students of patriotic feelings. The military department of YSU has a short but bright history, the story of folding it and resuming it with the new name "Military Training Center" in 2022. Comparison of patriotic feelings under the USSR, after the collapse of the USSR, under the new Russia and to the present. To identify the patriotic feelings of students, we conducted a sociological questionnaire survey with 12 questions. Patriotic feelings among students of military departments are higher than among students who do not study in military departments
