Introduction. Statistics show that 75-80% of children enter universities with impaired posture. The formation of posture ends by the age of 25, therefore, teachers of higher educational institutions in physical education classes need to treat this problem with maximum attention and responsibility. The purpose of the work: to determine the effect of exercise complexes on students with impaired posture using visual methods and testing. Organization and methods of research. The study was conducted on the basis of GUP and MGUPP. The study involved 87 students, 1st and 2nd year students. The following points were used to diagnose students in a university setting (according to the Hawley and Franks map, 2004): neck, upper back, lower back. Tests were also carried out to detect and distort posture. Two experimental groups (29 people) were formed students with impaired posture, performed a special set of exercises during the year and three control groups (58 people) students were engaged in the program of preparation for passing control standards in universities. Research methods: analysis of scientific literature and Internet sources; testing, pedagogical observation, pedagogical experiment. The results of the study. Testing of students showed that the control groups at the end of the study had deviations from the norm by about 7%. At the same time, students engaged in a special program aimed at improving posture and developing back muscles improved their test scores by an average of 15%. Conclusions. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the program of physical education and sports in universities requires the inclusion in the educational process of special exercises aimed at the prevention of back diseases
