Modem trends in volleyball require statistical analysis not only of the opponent's actions for timely correction of the team's game pattern in the match, but also of the players of their team to eliminate gaps in the technical training of volleyball players. The purpose of the study: to reveal the features of statistics during the game and to justify the effective influence of correctly formulated analytical data on the result of the match. In the course of pedagogical research, the authors found that statistical indicators help coaches, players and analysts to understand the strengths and weaknesses of the team and the effectiveness of each player on the court. A competent statistical analysis predicts the team's further tactics in a limited time period of the match and makes it possible to reverse the outcome of the match in their favor
