The article addresses the issue of the safety of using strength training for the health of the cardiovascular system. The impact of strength training on cardiovascular health is measured through changes in heart rate variability, blood glucose, lipoproteins, and arterial stiffness. A review of foreign works on the research topic allows us to conclude that strength exercises are widely used to reduce the risks of overall mortality in both healthy young people and people with a high risk of heart disease
