The article justifies the need to develop and use new means and methods in the form of methodological support used in the professional training of the future officer of the national guard troops. The definition of methodological support is formulated and its structural content is disclosed. The use of methodological support has made it possible to have a positive pedagogical impact on cadets and improve teamwork skills, personal and inter-group interaction, the ability to identify priority tasks of activities, to form an adequate assessment and understanding of their capabilities in order to timely adjust behavior. The results obtained made it possible to conclude that it is necessary to use methodological support for the development of the personality of the future officer and the ability to make meaningful and balanced decisions in future military-professional activities
