The scientific and practical article discusses the issues of planning, development and justification of a tourist route through the mountainous part of the Chechen Republic. The article reveals the importance, role and significance of route development based on research material. The opportunities of the tourism industry in our country and in the North Caucasus are not fully used, although this may be one of the factors of stable socio-economic development. The purpose of the research is to search for theoretical and practical knowledge on the study of the native land, for use in the field of tourism development. The main task was the theoretical justification and practical passage along the route: Grozny S. Itum-Kali Nikaroy tower complex Galanchozh village Roshni Chu village Grozny. It was necessary to find out the probability of the existence of a road between the tower complex Nikara S. Galanchozh, calculate the time to overcome the route. When analyzing the passage along the 2-day route, it was revealed that the route is interesting, fascinating, runs through very beautiful places of mountainous Chechnya. The research material can become a scientific topic of the final qualifying work and master's thesis and have economic significance for the development of the tourism industry in the region
