Pedagogical conditions for the application of group cohesion assessment methods among student-athletes

Abstract:
The purpose of the study is to provide a theoretical substantiation of the pedagogical conditions for the application of diagnostic methods for assessing group cohesion in student-athletes. Research methods and organization. To achieve this aim, the following research methods were used: theoretical analysis of scientific and methodological sources, diagnostic methods for assessing group cohesion of student teams, and surveys. Second-year students of Lesgaft National State University of Physical Education, Sport and Health, St. Petersburg, majoring in 49.03.04 Sport, as well as students of the College of Ice Sports, took part in the study. Research results and conclusions. The theoretical study made it possible to identify the essential components of group cohesion, as well as the directions for its formation. Areas of activity for the development of cohesion were identified, on the basis of which pedagogical conditions for the application of diagnostic methods ensuring the control of this process were substantiated.
