The article substantiates the urgent need and indicates the practical significance and possibility of introducing health-saving disciplines into the educational process. The subject matter and educational scope of these disciplines, the order of their passage and places in educational programs in various areas, a built system of interdisciplinary connections is proposed and the possibility of securing and implementing such disciplines at the departments of physical culture is evaluated. A feature of the construction of the process of teaching health-saving disciplines is the introduction of both generally accepted disciplines and disciplines of professionally directed influence, both mandatory and elective, and optional disciplines
