The article presents the results of the authors' research on the introduction of a program based on the study of their morpho-functional features into swimming training for children aged 7-10 years. Morphometric research methods allow children to be divided into groups according to somatic type. The division of children into typological groups contributes to the application of an individual approach. It has been established that the individualization of swimming training, based on the experimentally determined morpho-functional features of those involved, allowed to achieve maximum effectiveness in the training of children swimmers
