Abstract:
The article reveals the essence of educational work at the university as one of the factors of forming the personality of a future professional. The aim of the work: to analyse the main principles, tasks, functions, directions and forms of educational work at a technical university in the conditions of distance learning. Methodology and organization of the research. The basis of the empirical study was made up of the methods of sociological survey in the form of questionnaires, system analysis, comparison and generalization. The results of the study and their discussion. The educational process is a unity of all elements and directions of educational work. The research has shown that the demand among students for educational activities, both in the traditional form and in the distance form, is quite high. The role of the teacher as an organizer and leader is preserved. At the same time, there are a number of problems related to the organizational and content part. Conclusions. The obtained results will make it possible to improve the educational process at the university and increase its effectiveness
