The article presents the results of a survey of male students on a number of tests in order to identify the relationship between the development of physical qualities and mastering the technique of playing football. Therefore, one of the tasks is to develop methods for identifying and subsequent analysis of predisposition indicators, which are prerequisites for the formation of motor skills and abilities. Despite the difference in the indicators of the main forms of manifestation of the necessary characteristics, a general trend in the development of speed was noted, namely, improvement and stabilization according to the evaluation criteria of the sensorimotor reaction and anaerobic capabilities. The article notes the most influencing aspects of the development of inclinations on the success of further education of students in this type of sports orientation
