In order to determine the prospects of winning medals by the gymnasts of the Russian national team at major international competitions, it is necessary to constantly monitor the results of their main rivals. The purpose of the study is determination of the elite Russian gymnasts' competitiveness at the international podium on uneven bars - the strategically significant event of all-around. Problems: to determine the content of exercises, D-score components, E-score components and final score; to determine the potential rating of Russian female gymnasts on uneven bars at the international podium in 2023. The methods of the study: analysis literary sources and official documents, video materials of competitions, expert evaluation of gymnasts' performances. Research results and discussion. The content of the exercises and the quantitative components of D-score are determined. The results of the study showed that the Russian Cup uneven bars finalists chooses “E” and “D” groups among the eight most difficult elements. Most often performed: pike sole circle backward with 1/1 turn (360°) to handstand, Jaeger Salto, Pak Salto, dismount double Salto backward tucked with 1/1 turn (360°). The highest D-score was 6.7, the E-score - 8.566, the final score - 15.133, which is quite consistent with the elite international level. Conclusions. The results of the final competitions' participants on uneven bars, shown at Russian Cup 2023, in comparison with the best results the continental championships finalists show the high competitiveness of Russian female gymnasts at the international podium in the “pre-Olympic” year
