Abstract:
The relevance of studying the magnitude of physical activity when using the means of physical culture and sports by young people in independent studies is due to their targeted orientation to achieve a health-improving effect and the need to meet the load criteria of optimality. Objectives of the study: to study individual parameters of physical activity during recreational walking among young people; to identify methodological errors made by persons using walking as a means of preserving and strengthening health. The study involved 15 residents of the city of Nizhnevartovsk aged 19 to 35 years, engaged in recreational walking. «Garmin Forerunner» trackers were used to solve the tasks. The data was processed in the «Garmin Connect» application. The study showed that only 7 out of 15 participants had their work performed in the zone of the training regime with aerobic energy supply. For 6 people, the load was insufficient, for 2 -excessive. The main methodological errors: insufficient frequency of classes, violations in the preparatory and final parts of the lesson (their absence). It is necessary to increase the literacy of young people in matters of choosing the regime and dosing of physical activity in order to achieve the planned results in the process of self-organized physical culture and sports activities in the open air
