Abstract:
The article examines the factors underlying the actualization of the program of additional professional education in swimming training. The program is intended for training or retraining specialists capable of teaching swimming in various institutions (preschool educational institutions, secondary schools, summer health camps, secondary special and higher educational institutions, subscription health groups) effectively solving the problems of teaching swimming to various age and social groups of the country's population. , their health and ensuring the prevention of safe behavior on the water. To determine the structure and content of the program, the most significant and relevant factors were identified, based on the results of an analysis of scientific and methodological literature, statistical data, practical experience, results of pedagogical testing and questionnaires
