The article presents the results of an empirical study of the characteristics of achievement motivation and job satisfaction among young professionals. To conduct the study, the following methods were used: the methodology of personality diagnostics for motivation to success by T. Ehlers. (T. Ehlers' questionnaire for studying the motivation to achieve success); methodology for diagnosing personal and group job satisfaction (V.A. Rozanova). The analysis of the results showed that the majority of young professionals are satisfied with their work or are quite satisfied. Statistical analysis of the results of the study revealed a significant positive correlation between the level of motivation for success and the level of job satisfaction: the more young professionals are satisfied with their work and working conditions, the higher their level of motivation to achieve success, the more they strive to develop in their chosen work and want to achieve high professional results
